COMING SOON! New Prequel Stories and Sweet Vendetta Blues Cover Reveal

 

To give you all something to read in the lead-up to the Sweet Vendetta Blues release, I'm going to be releasing two prequel short stories to give you a little look into the missing pasts of the characters. 

These will be available Monday August 22nd, both as ebooks and as a paperback bind-up. 

I will also be doing the cover reveal for Sweet Vendetta Blues on September 6th! I'm really excited to share what I've been working on with you guys so make sure you pop over here that day.

Short Story Jam! (Upcoming Event)

 

I'm currently organizing a writing event and I am looking for people interested in joining! 

What is a writing jam? This is a challenge that would take place over a period of 48 hours to a week where you get together with other writers and write a short story in that amount of time. Think of it like a mini NaNoWriMo, but instead of a word count goal, it's a time limit so it's up to you whether you want to write a 500 word story or a 5000 word one.

When?

TBD but either the first or second week of August

How Long? 

From the currently gathered info, we’re probably looking at a week long Jam, possibly with a 3 day writing period and the first part of the week allotted to plotting time, but this might change the more feedback we get.

 

What am I doing?

For this Jam, you will be writing a short story in the allotted time.

The Butler's Story (New Short Story Ebook!)

My brand new short story is out today! This one is a prequel to my upcoming novel The New Emperor's Concerto so check this out to get a taste of what is to come in that book!

The butler to the King’s Righteous Man must be someone who is brave, skilled, loyal, and above all, ready for any eventuality—whether it be an assassin after his master or high tea for ten guests on short notice.

Vincent Sinclair is the replacement for Sir Percival’s former butler who died under…unfortunate circumstances. It is now his duty to serve the Righteous Man in whatever he needs, whenever he needs it.

One of his duties is training the master’s son, Lysander, who will take over the title of Righteous Man when Sir Percival ultimately retires—or is taken off the field by less savory means, whatever comes first. Sinclair finds Lysander to be a bright boy, but one weighed down by the shadow of his father’s demands. Sinclair takes it upon himself to help the young master shine, so that Lysander can prove to his father that he has what it takes to be the next Righteous Man.

This prequel story to The New Emperor’s Concerto shares a look at what it’s like being in the family of the King’s Righteous Man from the butler’s perspective.
